I've been working on a RD4 that has sat for many years. I've got her going a few times but seem to have problems with pony motor carb too much gas,not enough gas and so on. Its a zenith carb no tag ( must have been under screw thats missing ) I'm trying to find basic settings for hi and low jets.

The operators instruction book says start out with the high speed screw 1 turn out & the low speed a 1/2 turn out but I always found you end up with about 1 1/2 turns out with the high speed screw & a 3/4 turn out with the idle screw so this gives you a starting adjustment to try but sometimes you just have to play around a little till you get it set where it runs good.

Thanks SJ, I tried a number of dfferent settings and finaly got to something like that and got her running
