New Cat hauler. was created by Garlic Pete
My Mother and I picked up our new lowbed Cat hauler this weekend.

It is a 1942 Trailmobile that has been modified with hydraulic beaver tail. It also has a hydraulic winch which exits through a fairlead in the drop at the front of the deck.

The engine, pump and reservoir are mounted on the front of the top deck for now. I would like to move them down between the frame rails and landing gear later.

Swishy, Rigandig and frankpalecek better look out. I'm equiped and ready for business, now! My hotrod 1956 FWD with the screaming 671 was able to move this load from zero to 40 miles per hour in the two miles between stop signs. I think, given fifteen or twenty miles of flat road it might get up to 50!

The links below will take you to videos on Youtube of accelerating the load, slowing and turning, and unloading the D7.

I hope everyone enjoys the pictures and videos. Now that I have a camera I might end up boring everyone with pictures and videos of everything we do!

Pete.

This Cat hauler and Cat are not for sale.

It took me five years of looking to find this trailer, and I only just got it a couple of days ago!

I meant to post this under the discussion thread, but accidentally got it in the for sale thread.

Perhaps Joe Black or OzDozer can move it for me.

Sorry for the confusion,

Pete.
