Doing some Ripping "subsoiling" with the D8K 76V this has a direct drive transmission the ripper is a caterpillar No.18 pulling 3 shanks at 48 inches on the first pass, we go back over the same pass with the center shank set at 5 ft. Depth. Working land that is to be planted to almond trees. JM

Hello all, well the wheat crop of 2015 is in the books. Now it's time to get the stubble harrowed so that if it ever rains the weeds will grow so we can get them sprayed. The 7M works well for this, it's just fast enough in forth gear. Fuel consumption is very low also. As long as it's below 80 degrees it's a lot of fun to spend the day on it. It really is a pleasant tractor to farm with.
