46A 10345 would be a 1965 build.

I guess you mean this one..... cgi.ebay.com.au/Caterpillar-D8H-46A-Bull...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Looks pretty straight for an early H; pity they didn't raise the blade so it could be seen how far the tracks are adjusted out.

Looks like a very straight machine to me, but allow for new U/C, the rollers and rails look to be worn out, count the links, there may be one short!

I thought SALT rails usually were worn out externally needing a P&B turn because of sprocket wear or rail height too low instead of worn internally and track adjusters extended out to max.

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D

As I said, take a closer look, SALT bushes are turned because they are worn and there is life left in the rest of the track. We are assuming these are SALT chains? They may be standard sealed or have had a turn and not been re--sealed, either way, I see worn out top rollers, 'thin' rails, bottom roller flanges striking the pin bosses, and possibly, a good gap betwen the pads. It needs a good coat of looking at before buying, to factor in the value of undercarraige left in it.
