I need to know the rotation of the diesal engine on my D47j.Need to put a hydarlic pump on the front of my D4.

Your engine would be counter clockwise at the flywheel or the front pulley would be clockwise. Cat has over the years made a very few industrial engines with a special application with clockwise rotation at the flywheel & have worked on them at the shop & they were used in big draglines.
