D4 track loader for sale

Gonna get rid of my D4 Trackloader. It ran good when I parked it about 6 years ago. The only problem was one side clutch was getting weaker and weaker as I worked and finally wouldn't turn at all to the right. I talked to the Cat guy at Patton equip in Rockford who said it sounded like a linkage problem and not the clutch. I had no time to look at it at the time....never did find the time or the inclination. Anyhow, the farm is on the market and I want to get rid of the old girl. The 2 12volt batteries are long dead and my dear wife says no more money goes in the old girl if I want to maintain peace in the family. I'd let it go for ttwelve hundred bucks if anyone's interested.

Hi Jim,
If you or someone close by has a machine capable of pulling it it would be a benefit if you could pull start it. A 50 HP range tractor should drag it fine. Put it it high gear and it should turn over fine. Price seems fair enough but it will be a lot more saleable to folks if the buyer knows it still runs enough to drive it on the trailer.
Good luck in your new endeavors.
Roger

If it is still available, I would be interested, I live near cedar rapids, Iowa and have a way to haul it. <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots.
