Another question for you Mate .
Our D47U is a 1952 model .The 29A seems to rev Higher than it .Were they opened up a bit in the later tractors .Is there a Horsepower difference between the 2machines ?

Hi Ian,
yep, D4's S/No 6U1--6U10321 and 7U1--7U29423 were 1525rpm HI/ & 51fwhp@1400rpm Full Load
S/No 6U10322--6U11581 and 7U29424--7U37284 were 1745rpm HI & 58fwhp@1600rpm FL
S/No 6U11582--up and 7U37285--up were 1735rpm HI & 60.5fwhp@1600rpm FL
These figures from my old rack book chart for these machines current at date 8-61.
