We tore down a D342 industrial engine and we have the block sitting here.
Part number cast on it is 4S6860. I believe it is the high output D8 block. I'm sure to be corrected if I'm wrong. I haven't run it through the machine shop yet because that costs money but I can have it checked out prior to being sold/shipped. I can get pictures and more info if anyone is interested.
