Stew,

Have you looked into having your camshaft reground? I've had that done on a Triumph TR6 I restored years ago. They can even change the shape of the bump to improve performance. But on a tractor...they can simply remove enough material to give you a clean surface again. Then they will re-harden the surface. This will only work if you have enough adjustment in your lifters to take up the slack from the material removal. I know it can be time consuming but you can find longer valves to install should the regrind remove too much material. My TEN has Chevrolet valves and seats in it. (and I am a Ford guy!) But they were very cheap to buy and modify to fit the block.

Worth checking into when no spares are available.

Good Luck Sir!

I think my cam is to badly pitted to regrind, Thanks ron please let me know. I could also do with the followers. I'm trying to see if its cheaper to get new than to fix old.

The cam shaft on the Fifteen, V-350, is also used on the Twenty Two 2F series and on the 1J series 1J1- 1J384.
