NOS Caterpillar Engine Oil Filters In Box was created by mmtractor1950

I have a box of 3 NOS CAT oil filters the part number on the box it 8B5935. Inside the box is also a little brochure about CAT oil filters. I am asking $100 for the box of 3 filters let me know if you are interested.

I'm at a loss as to why old filters would be any more valuable than new?

They would be cool to have at the mock dealer display at the Carthage NC show, as to value? got no idea. Does anyone remember the "pet rock"?

OM, probably same reason old cars and motor sickles are sometimes worth more than new ones. I read an article today about the "kids" getting back into cassette tapes - some cachet I suppose although if I went old school, I'd go with vinyl but not cassettes. I still have my old Eagles records : ) but nothing to play them on....
