1934 Caterpillar 3G Diesel 40 with PTO

One of the more rare Caterpillars. It is the forerunner of the D-6

Narrow gauge, No blade. Was used to run a pump at an alfalfa field well head in the 50s.
Unstarted for 20+ years. Does not currently run.
Overall very good condition for its age - one section of track has a small piece missing

Was sold and used solely in Southern Nevada, Mojave Desert dry conditions.

Only 1571 made
Serial number 3G970

It has trunnions so at some time it must have had a dozer on it also.

Although since we cant really see the rollers and rails they ay not be too bad.

What about the grousers? There's hardly anything left! I think it ran a pump after working very hard before that.
