Ok, you send me the J series lever Herb once you get the U-series from Jon. PM me with $ - you already have my address but I can resend. I'm intrigued though because from the mounting point backwards, I didn't think there was any length difference in the transmission housing between the two series, yet the J rod doesn't seem to even come close?

Cheers,
Neil

Well you are thinking the same direction. I took the cover off the PTO this morning. There was a problem with a key, the top lever will be parallel to the face of the case.after repair. I am wanting to know why the brackets are different.
No problem sending you the bracket to you, glad to help a fellow Catman.

Herb resend addy.

The earlier PTO levers are different than the  late model lever (Big Seat tank & Curved Steering Levers). I don't have one in front of me but; When you have the earlier version on a late model it is really hard to get it adjusted correctly to stay fully engaged in the detent. I have trouble sometimes from it vibrating out of engagement because it hits the bottom of the seat.
