Pony motor from 1951 Caterpillar D4 7U. Complete and was running and starting the D4 tractor. Magneto has broken armature shaft. This was the second magneto failure, so I decided to eliminate the pony motor entirely. I have direct electric start. Pony motor has loose main bearings, which is what knocks out the magneto. This pony motor needs an overhaul and a magneto rebuild. Missing the sediment bowl glass, but all else is complete. No shipping, but for the buyer in need of a good builder, this is worth the trip. $400 OBO.
