Bought a radiator for my D2 from Radiator Supply House in OR. 2X the quality of materials and construction than the other rad I bought for the R2 from builder in IL.. I would say equal to OEM Cat. Straight fin and tube, heavy headers punched for bolts.

I used part # 6H9853. Also can be alt. part #s, 4H5497, 4h5498, 5M4027, 8H2986, 8H5497, 8H6246, 8H6247, 8H8771

OM you listed full width core as 6H9853. Is there another number for earlier tractors? Mine is 5U12016. I ordered by the 6H ref. No bolt holes line up with tanks.
Thanks, Herb

5U1 - 17,568 uses the partial core part # 5F2141
5U17,569 - up uses the full core 6H9853
Not aware of a full core part number for earlier units.
There are two changes in top tanks and side panels between your 5U12016 and the full core side plates.
Bottom tanks stay the same.

It is my fault that I bought the full core. I thought it would fit. Then the full core should fit the bottom thank? The bolt pattern is the same on the tanks. Unless it is a f**k up from the builder. I will have to talk to them before I start drilling new holes in an 600$ core!

Thanks Herb

I double checked my parts book and the 5U series uses the same #5F1618 bottom tank.
The top tanks change from 5F1804 to 3H9058 then 5H4048 with the full core. Side panels (plates) also change with the top tanks.
I checked gasket numbers for all three top tanks and found all the radiators to be using the same 5F1847 top and bottom gaskets.....so something seems off with that core.

OK Thank you for the numbers Big help as I don't have all the reference material
If they all use the same bottom tank and gaskets, it would seem the full core should fit.
