Hi, Tom.
Thanks for the update. Sounds good - like I'll get plenty of 'bang' for my buck. I'm getting 'gladder' and 'gladder' I made the decision to come over. Are you looking forward to that iced tea? LOL.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Deas, are you aware of the California Railroad Museum? It is located on the north side of Sacramento. A premier railroad museum, and if you have the time, I'd recommend you go through it. I plan to, for the second time. It won't be too far away from Woodland. GWH

Hi, GWHdiesel75.
George, I suspect that I could spend a lot of the rest of my life wishing that I could have taken 80 days instead of 8 for this trip - - - if I was into regrets, second-guessing and lamenting. But I'm not.

Thanks for the heads-up about the railroad museum and I will certainly think about it if I have any spare time. At the moment, I'm trying to juggle enough time for a quick flight to Tempe, Az., and may also want to get down to Temecula, Ca., for a quick visit to catch up with a guy from the Heavy Equipment Forums if he can't make it up for the show. Add in the time to photograph anything up to maybe 500 exhibits at the BSOT and I may be wanting 36 hour days for the duration. LOL.

Hoping to catch up with you there too, if you don't see me first. LOL.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Thanks to Willie and Garlic Pete, the first 19 tractors are safely tucked into the confines of the shops at the Best Ranch. 25 days to show time and that means that only about 20 more tractors a day need to be moved. Thank god most people will move their own stuff and it will arrive and depart on show week.

Another huge thanks to Glen and the Chapter 5 folks for wrenching all day today at the Joe Heidrick Ranch. I understand that around 17 more tractors at Joe's place are now ready to go. Jess and his crew were wrenching at the Wallace Ranch today and several more tractors barked to life following years in a slumber, including a really nice Holt 45 Muley.

Remember, get your packets in with registrations and orders for Satuerday night diner tickets etc. Just go to the website referenced above. We have sold about 300 dinner tickets and we need to know how many will be coming so we can plan accordingly.

Show committee meeting on Friday the 30th at the Museum @ 6 and I believe work days on Friday and Saturday. Willie can confirm the work days.

Thanks for all of the help from the many volunteers.

I believe that I told you guys before that we had shot a piece for RFDTV previewing the Best Show on Tracks. Well it is finally done and I got to see a sneak preview today.

Anyway, it is probably going to air tomorrow June 29 on RFDTV on the Classic Tractor program, Aumann's Album. I know it airs in California @ 5, and later the farther east you live. I say probably because we don't have final confirmation although we believe it to be the case. If it does show tomorrow night it will also show on Sunday on the same program--1 hour later.

The preview has too much of me (Willie and the gang refused to talk) but lots of great footage of Holt 75, Best 75, Best 60, Best Humpback, Cat Diesel Sixty 1C2, Holt 120, Best 110 steamer and Don Hunter's Holt steam crawler. Tune in to see it and then come out to Woodland so you can see all of the tractors in person.

Consult your cable or satelitte provider and tune into the Classic Tractor program tonight or Sunday to view the preview of the Best Show On Tracks.

A HUGE thanks to Kurt Aumann of Aumann Auctions for allowing us to put this together and get it on the air before our show.

We hope this will convince some more of you to come on out to California to our great show.

Thanks.
