Replied by WayneB on topic Pony Motor is rope start
I have an old Ford starter that came with the dozer, with pulley and belt and leverage handle that was used to start the pony. Not factory.

Might mention whether it is rope or electric start.....

A long block is an engine assembly complete with oil pan and heads. It does not have any accessories such as manifolds, mag, carb, etc. A short block consists of an engine block assembly with the internal parts but would not have heads and oil pan.

Sorry Fellas,
The pony long block offer is no longer offered.
Time is money, and I don't have a lot of time.
This spring, it more important for me to clear pasture land and fix other equipment & take care of my farm.

The time it would take for me to strip the Pony simply makes it not worth it.
The pony is in my shop on a shipping pallet, complete with new rebuilt mag & carb, perfect fuel tank and bowl, and priced to sell.

this past winter, I had time for the long block stripping. sorry.

I've priced it to sell, and its a deal for somebody.
