Meridian Naval Auxiliary Air Station, Two of Hyde's Caterpillar Diesel generator sets for night lighting: both are D315 units, with 27 kw capacity. In background is a Euclid scraper.

Caterpillar Diesel D2 Tractor with belt pulley, driving 22# thresher, threshing beans near Morrill, Nebraska. Tractor uses about 1 gal. 5 cents of fuel per hour.
