Here are some of my favorites- Russian Caterpillars (sometimes called “Stalinets”) in use by the Soviet Military during the Second World War.

Hi, Thanks for posting, I just love the second picture with the spare head gaskets tucked behind the radiator grille !

I think that an article in the magazine entitled "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" would be very interesting and include the Russian cat copies as well as others, any volunteers to coordinate such an article ?

If my knowledge is still correct, the Russians bought caterpillars for military use and then began making their own similar versions because they loved the tractor so much.
