Some that I found on the internet -
Sixty with "blocks" for support in the mud of the rice fields.   Old timers talked about putting sleds under the combine wheels.   Blocks were 4"x6" bolted to the track plates.  Some locals had piles of them by the barns.   Often they had "long" and "short" blocks staggered on the tracks.

Hello all. I'm curious to know if anyone is familiar with the "Duncan Dozer" bulldozer kit installed on the CAT D2 pictured above. I have the identical kit on my '47 Red crawler.
Thanks!

SMOTHERING THE CORN BORER
Heavy disk plowing fills a real need on this wet, low field infested with corn borer larvae. The big 5-disk plow goes down a good 12 inches... chopping under corn stalks. Each 10-hour day the D2 and plow cover 15 acres on less than a tankful of fuel (20 gallons). All the heavy jobs are handled well by the D2... for C.L. Buysse on his acerage near Minneota, MN. “We like the high drawbar pull, lack of harmful packing, and low fuel consumption,” he states.

Several brands very similiar in looks but this is my first look at one. Do you have any history on your IH? Might help narrow down which part of the country Duncan was in.
