Not the best picture, but here is a shot of my Sixty plowing back in the day. I got this picture from the great grandson of the original owner.

This is a Sixty with an AllSteel side boom laying pipe near Bradford, Pennsylvania in circa 1930. I'm not sure of the model of the Cletrac with the rigging winch.
There were 2 other Sixties with pipe booms on the job.
The spread was owned by Rich and Company, Pipeline Constructors, based in Bradford.

If anyone is interested I can scan several more pictures from this job.

Hello. In 2013 my '47 TD6 came from the grandson of a concrete contractor based in the southern California desert near Joshua Tree. The blade was modified on the backside for two folding rippers and has the same "Duncan Dozer" stencil as well. Probably not much help but thanks for your response.

Thanks Rome.  I thought I was pretty lucky to get the picture.

Coming from an underground utilities background I would love to see more pictures of how it was done back in the day

Cool picture Bruce, looks to me like you should go back looking for a set of Oliver plows to put back behind the Sixty.
