Bumpus,
keep up the good work and just let the negativity roll off your back.
I would like to say that if anyone does not like what you do for us here on the BB, then a simple solution is for those people not to read your post.

I would like to encourage you to post anything you like and You are right in the fact no one can please everyone 100% of the time.

Ian, there's a bunch of screwy stuff popping up, as I have had the same message on other websites too. I have found that Internet explorer often times cause most of my troubles. I have started using Google Chrome and it is faster with no hangups. Just the same, I don't see anything out of sorts here and I haven't heard from Megan if there are issues. We will be performing some maintenance and updates in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned; it could get interesting.

Bumpus;
Keep up the great work. I enjoy seeing your posts. Your posts are labled the best you can from what the sellers list. I do not look at all you list but your post do save me alot of hunting time. I do not have the $$$ to purchase but I do love to keep up on current prices. AND it does not bother me if you list non Caterpillar items. What you post that is non-Caterpillar ar for items that are used to move our toys, or are items that our tows would have worked with in their hayday.
Caterpillar tractors did not only pull Caterpillar equipment!!!!!! (Who would of Thought!) We as collectors need to collect these other brands of items that our beloved toys pulled in the past and keep the rest of the world aware of them too. I have several off Caterpillar items in my collection (Baker horse drawn road grader, Adams # 10 elevating grader, Stover Lime Crusher, unknown center hump remover from roads). Whenever I have these items at shows they always is someone amazed that they are behind my Caterpillar 22 (though at most shows I have my N0. $ High Way patrol behind it).
So in short what I am trying to say Bumpus do what you love doing keep us informed on what is out there at what price Caterpiller or not as long as it had a close assoctiation with our Toys of Choice :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:.

I would suggest that the For Sale forum be reconfigured to differentiate between items someone is selling for themselves or someone known to them and those sold by unknowns on Craigslist, Ebay, ect. Your postings tend to move ACMOC folk's items down the line and out of sight quickly. If there was a way to separate an unknown party's items from ACMOC items, I believe we could have the best of both worlds; you (and others) could increase your postings, identify more items out there for sale, get more people into projects and maybe save more iron from the scrapper. You obviously care about what you are doing and how it affects others. Maybe there's a way to tweak this thing and get a lot of extra mileage out of it.

Hi chriscokid:

Actually I started this thread to find out if it was a help and maybe find out if anyone has bought anything that I posted.

I don't let negative comments get me down or drive me away if there is one.

Anything out of line of the ruels on the forum and the report will be sent by me or someone else to the owners by the report button.

Had a few votes for me to stop posting ( for sale equipment ) and If they would like to tell me why they can send it to me in a PM.

Sometimes it's just someone try to aggravate me and get my goat.

Well I have had 4 or 5 herds of goats in the past, and sold them all, so I have none for sale or get in this time of life.

I don't have a problem with what you're doing either. Some posts I look at when it's something that interests me, if what's posted doesn't have any interest, I scroll past it. Keep up the good work.
