NZ Post offer that service for NZ Residents (called Youshop), with an office and tranship address in both Portland Oregon for the Continental USA and another office/address in London UK for Europe. Very useful for any supplier that won't ship internationally, they will even collate several orders and repackage them into one and then airfreight them out. It isn't always that cheap, and you have to pay 15% Goods and Services Tax on the value of the item (as you legally have to on anything purchased overseas) but it does mean you can purchase things overseas that you couldn't otherwise. I use this service regulary.

However, in this case with these bellows seals from General Gear and Machine, John and Debbie Parks are a real joy to deal with and it is no problem to purchase from them direct. They ship to AU and NZ 2 to 3 times a week anyway! However freight just isn't cheap anymore (getting the steering clutch parts out cost $280USD) and being able to get Neil to bring them out with him, if he is willing to do so, would result in a significant saving.

Another thing to note is that the 7F8454 Bellows seal for the track rollers is no longer available from CAT. General Gear and Machine offer these for $38USD each so it is an obvious place to source them from!

Find out how much they will all weigh as a set Mark

John has emailed me this morning and said that it will be less than 20Lbs, however he doesn't give me an exact weight (which I will ask for). Freight to NZ would be $118USD whereas freight within the USA is free.

there is no pressure Neil, if it is going to be too difficult I am quite happy to pay for the shipping, however $118 is $118!

The only question is if customs is going to ask what they are!

The 16 seals, without packaging would weigh 12lbs (5.44kg), just confirmed by John.

i cant quite remember it was a few yrs back bit i think it was about 10 bucks a month plus any freight cost if you used the service. you of course paid freight to get it to the american address and currency exchange fees. but it allowed you to order from companies that wouldnt send outside the U.S or north america.

some are even free for their basic service.

The NZ Post Youshop service is exactly this, and it is free.

Also should have asked, what is the length, width, height of the set? The weight looks fine. I usually bring one suitcase with not much in it as I already have clothes at my mother's place
