Rich agrees with me. My lathe isn't quite accurate enough to make an adapter so I didn't volunteer right away to make a reducer. If Rich has a collet setup or a good 4 jaw, then I would have him do it. If I was to silver solder the pieces, it would still be nice to be able to chuck up the one piece to drill it out. I thought maybe you had a caliper to post some measurements. as then itwould be easier to figure out the next route. A photo comparison between photo on page 11 and photo on page 13makes it hard to judge size.

your inbox is full... so here is my reply...

There small enough to just send in an envelop if that would work i can still take it to a peice of thin cardboard for a little strength... unless you think i should get a padded envelop...

For the extra dollar, I'd go with the padded envelope and 2 pieces of cardboard with them inside.
That way the postal sorting machines will not eat them if they are in a regular envelope.

OOPS! Okay, I just flushed a bunch of old messages out of my can.

Be sure to write the word "FRAGILE" on the padded envelope in large letters. They won't take any extra special care of the envelope but at least they'll get a good laugh as they throw a 68 pound flat rate box on top of it in the bin.:lol::lol::lol:

Hey LCM,

Been watching the "bill box" the last couple days. Your jets came today. We're Really busy at work right now and working 10+ hour days. I'll try to get your jets done in the next few days. :thumb:

LCM,

Sorry it took so long but things have been insane at work lately. I have had your carburetor jet packaged up and with me in the truck so I could stop at the PO and mail it back to you for the last 3 days. Not getting out of work until AFTER the PO closes (and going in to work 3 hours before they open). At least all of the overtime will help fund some parts for the new D2. I just printed a USPS shipping label online and the package will be at the PO tonight (gotta run out and pick up some groceries too, outa milk and I can't live without my milk)(how can you possibly eat Oreo's without milk??)(oops!, my train of thought derailed again).

Anyway, you should have the repaired jet within the next few days. I'll be waiting to hear that you finally have your 22 running. Keep us posted!!!:thumb:

P.S. Normally when we do a favor for somebody at work we ask for payment in the form of DONUTS. Next time you're in Lawton, Michigan be sure to drop off a dozen donuts at Pease Machining (I like the ones with nuts on them, John doesn't like sprinkles and the rest of the guys will eat just about anything).
